Risk is just too subjective a word. How do you know what’s risky?

When someone gets out of a traditional scenario to do something different, most people would call that a risky move.
To dump a highly profitable business to start a video blog that speaks about wine, and sell it - Is that risky? It’s been done. That’s Gary Vaynerchuk!
Here’s the problem. Risk often refers to something ‘out there’.
It’s not.
Most people who took ‘risks’ and succeeded were aware of what they were doing. Yes, they were scared. But they weren’t blind. They sacrificed. They worked hard. They had the will. And the vision. Cliché’s. All true.
So the next time you want to do something and you’re not sure, don’t always crunch the numbers. Don’t always look for references. Don’t always look for advice.
All of that is important – but start with you. Are you ready?
