I don't care

No matter which successful person I talk to, they all seem to say one thing : You’ve got to care, and you’ve got to make a difference.

In all honesty? Everytime I hear that, I can’t stand it.

Why? Because I just don’t care. I don’t. Seriously. I thought I did, but I honestly don’t. At this point, I’m just looking out for myself. Yes, that includes my friends and family, but you get the picture. I keep thinking, ‘Hey, everybody successful says it matters, so start caring!’. I don’t feel it! And it frustrates me. Have any of you felt that way?

I realised something though. We all make a difference, for better or worse.

I don’t do anything unethically. I don’t cheat people. In fact, I need to know that if I talk to a client or a customer or anybody, they’ll get incredible value. Otherwise, I just won’t do it.

That’s caring too, isn’t it? As long as I live up to what I’ve stated above, I technically will make a difference. For the better.

The good news is, most of us will.

 I hope.
